How to Remove Calendars

1. If the calendar is a separate Subscription

This is the easiest scenario. If the calendar appears in the sidebar under “Other Calendars” or “Internet Calendars”:

  • Outlook Web: Right-click the calendar name > Remove or Delete.

  • Outlook Desktop: Right-click the calendar name > Delete Calendar.

2. If events are merged into your Personal Calendar (The “List” Method)

If the events were added via Import, they have become part of your primary personal calendar. To remove them without deleting your own private appointments, use the “List View”:

  1. Open your Calendar in the Outlook Desktop app.

  2. Go to the View tab.

  3. Click Change View and select List.

  4. You will now see all appointments in a table format.

  5. Pro Tip: Sort the list by the Categories or Modified column. Usually, all events imported from the site will have the same modification date or a specific category name.

  6. Select all the relevant events (Hold Shift + click) and press Delete.

3. The most reliable way: Outlook Web

Since synchronization between the computer and the cloud can sometimes get stuck, the most reliable way to ensure a calendar is gone is through the browser:

  1. Log in to outlook.office.com.

  2. Check under My Calendars or Other Calendars.

  3. If an unwanted calendar appears, click the three dots (…) next to it and select Discard or Remove.
